The CW is giving fans of General Hospital's Robert Palmer Watkins (ex-Dillon Quartermaine) a pre-Valentine's Day tease with the new trailer for his upcoming series Cupid's Match.
General Hospital fans are in for one hot Valentine's Day. Recent Port Charles resident Robert Palmer Watkins (ex-Dillon Quartermaine) is the star of the new CW series Cupid's Match, which not only debuts this Wednesday, February 14, but is also available for a little foreplay action via a new teaser trailer.
As previously reported, the supernatural series stars Michel Janse as Lila, a high school student who finds herself in a strange world of romance, adventure, and betrayal when the mysterious Cupid's Matchmaking Service contacts her to let her know she's been matched with Cupid (Watkins) himself. The fact that he's been matched up is unprecedented, and legend has it that very bad things will happen if Lila falls for him -- which is probable, considering he's absolutely irresistible.

Cupid's Match was developed by Tongal and Wattpad via a call to filmmakers to pitch how they would bring the tale -- which amassed over 35 million reads online -- to series. Creators were invited to submit pitches for a series teaser video "that encapsulates what Cupid's Match could look like as a CW Seed show, teeing up all of the romance and adventure, the twists and the turns and, of course, the cast of captivating characters."
Three finalists received funding to produce a series trailer, and the grand prize winner -- mother-daughter team KR Squared Productions -- was selected to create the pilot episode with the potential to develop the entire series.
