Returning General Hospital star Michael Easton has a very special message for passionate viewers, whom he thanks for making his Port Charles return a reality.
General Hospital fans were taken on a heart-pumping ride this week when executive producer, Frank Valentini, teased he'd be revealing some "major news" on Twitter. Anticipation built over the course of several days, finally leading to the announcement that Michael Easton will be returning to the ABC soap in the weeks ahead.
Shortly following the video tease that had Easton and Valentini "accidentally" bumping into one another at the grocery store and discussing his upcoming return, Easton took to Facebook with a special message for fans.
"IT'S TRUE..." he wrote. "It was your kindness and support that made this happen. I am humbled by your faith. With gratitude and love, now and always, Michael."
No other details about Easton's return have been released, outside of ABC exec Nathan Varni revealing that the actor will be taking on "an exciting new character" rather than one of his former Port Charles alter egos (Silas Clay, John McBain, or Caleb Morley).
