The Feds are headed to Port Charles. The ABC soap has cast a former Another World star as a federal prosecutor. The role, which is recurring, will debut in late February.
Someone in Port Charles is about to find themselves in a heap of trouble. A General Hospital spokesperson tells Soap Central that the show recently cast the recurring role of a federal prosecutor.
Beginning next month, former Another World star Dahlia Salem will tackle the role of U.S. Attorney Claire Walsh. Salem appeared for three years as Sofia Carlino on Another World, her only previous daytime role. Since that time, Salem has gone on to appear in numerous guest-starring roles on primetime. Her most recent spots included Castle, The Forgotten, and Medium.
Salem films her first scenes on January 28. Her first airdate will come about a month later on February 24.
