The CW's Arrow has cast General Hospital star Chad Duell (Michael Corinthos) for a guest-starring role to air later this month. The actor teases that his character on the superhero series is nothing like his Port Charles alter ego, meaning fans will likely get to see him in a new light.
General Hospital's Chad Duell (Michael Corinthos) got the chance to flex his non-soap acting muscles after being plucked to appear in an upcoming episode of Arrow.
The popular daytime actor will be making his guest-starring appearance on the CW superhero show, based on the DC Comics character Green Arrow, this Tuesday, January 21. Landing the role was an opportunity Duell describes to Soap Opera Digest as "an awesome time" and "a great experience."

According to an official show description, Duell's episode of Arrow takes place in Star City in the year 2040, where "Mia Queen (Katherine McNamara) has everything she has always wanted. However, when Laurel (Katie Cassidy) and Dinah (Juliana Harkavy) suddenly show up in her life again, things take a shocking turn and her perfect world is upended. Laurel and Dinah are tracking a kidnapping victim with direct ties to Mia and they need her help. Knowing it will change everything, Mia can't help but be a hero and she, Laurel, and Dinah suit up once again to save the city."
Though Duell was unable to share anything about the role he will be playing on Arrow, he teases that the character is nothing like GH's Chad, a role he's been playing since 2010.
Arrow premiered in 2012 and is currently in its eighth and final season.
