The stork has paid a visit to real-life couple Brandon Barash and Kirsten Storms. The General Hospital stars are the proud parents of a baby girl.

General Hospital's Kirsten Storms (Maxie Jones) and Brandon Barash (ex-Johnny Zacchara) are the proud parents of a baby girl.

"Our passenger has touched down and arrived," Barash announced on Twitter. "Welcome to our world. There has not been a more fulfilling day."

Harper Rose Barash, who was born Tuesday, January 7, is the first child for both parents. On January 9, Storms shared a photo of baby Harper on her Instagram account with the caption, "Daddy's lil Princess."

"What amazing news to wake up to," Bradford Anderson (ex-Damian Spinelli) added. "Two of my favorite people have created what is surely a superbeing. The world is a better place today."

As previously reported by Soap Central in August 2013, Barash and Storms were quietly married last summer. In a case of double shock-and-awe, the pair announced their marriage and the pregnancy at same time.

Storms is currently on maternity leave from General Hospital. The actress made her on-screen exit on January 2. There's been no timeline announced yet for when fans can expect to see Storms back on-screen.
