Lifetime's The Nanny Murders features General Hospital's Coby Ryan McLaughlin in evil role

General Hospital alum Coby Ryan McLaughlin (ex-Shiloh) is set to play an evil dad opposite Days of our Lives star Arianne Zucker (Nicole Walker) in The Nanny Murders, a brand-new offering from Lifetime.

Lifetime knows how to throw down some serious drama, and the network's latest soap-related offering, The Nanny Murders, sounds like one for the books.

The film perfectly cast General Hospital alum Coby Ryan McLaughlin (ex-Shiloh) in the dark role of Warren, a famous business magnate who hires a young woman named Jamie (Mia Topalian) to look after his children. Jamie's excitement at being employed by her idol is quickly tempered, however, when he makes an unwanted, sexual advance. In the incident's aftermath, Jamie discovers that Warren has a dark side that he'll do anything -- including murder -- to keep secret.

Days of our Lives' Arianne Zucker (Nicole Walker) also features in the film as Warren's wife, Sheryl, while former GH star Robert Palmer Watkins (ex-Dillon Quartermaine) plays Zack, and Scarlet Fernandez (Charlotte Cassadine, GH) plays Gwenny.

Though Lifetime often calls on soap opera stars for its films, The Nanny Murders marks McLaughlin's first film for the network. Zucker, however, has appeared in several Lifetime movies, including Killer Assistant, Ex-Wife Killer, Babysitter's Nightmare, and His Perfect Obsession.

The Nanny Murders is slated to premiere Sunday, January 10, on Lifetime. Check your local listings for airtimes.
