Why didn't Eva Mendes attend the Stella McCartney Fall/Winter 2025 Show during Paris Fashion Week?

Eva Mendes and Stella McCartney have worked together in the past on a fall 2024 campaign called "It's About F*cking Time". Mendes has always used her voice to support women and children, as well as immigrants. This is one of the reasons why McCartney chose to work with her. You may be surprised to find Eva Mendes absent from the Stella McCartney Fall/Winter 2025 Show during Paris Fashion Week, which was on March 5.

Mendes posted on her Instagram on Wednesday explaining why she was not able to attend the Stella McCartney show during Paris Fashion Week. Mendes captioned the post,

"I’m 51 today and so grateful for all the reasons. Especially grateful to @stellamccartney for making the most beautiful, cruelty free clothing that I feel so great in. I’ve worked with amazing designers throughout my career but I’ve never felt sexier in any one else’s designs than hers." she wrote.

The Hitch actress continued,

"I hate that I can’t be there at your fashion show today but I have the best reason in the world -I’m with my family." Mendes ended the post by writing she is sending lots of love to McCartney.

Eva Mendes posted on her official Instagram account that she and the designer brand, Stella McCartney, will be working together again on a new campaign. Additionally, she announced that she just turned 51 years old. On her Instagram post, she started the caption as:

"My new campaign and my new age just dropped!" Mendes wrote.

Mendes posted in a sheer black dress with a thigh-high slit and a pair of pointed toe heels in her birthday post. She specifically mentioned that whenever she is wearing a Stella McCartney outfit, she feels her s*xiest.

Even though Mendes cannot attend the 2025 Paris Fashion Week, she wished McCartney the best for her show.

After working on the "It's About F*cking Time" campaign in 2024, Mendes and McCartney are back in 2025 for a new campaign. This time they are calling it the "Save What You Love" campaign.

The previous collaboration was a fall collection and the "Save What You Love" campaign is for summer 2025. According to Eva Mendes' post promoting the campaign, she wrote,

"Fantastical birds blend technology and biology. With nearly 50% of avian species in decline, there could someday be a world where these creatures live only in imagination if we do not save what we love." Mendes captioned her Instagram post.

Fans were obsessed with the clothes and the shoes Mendes wore on her post.
