Tate McRae released her latest and third studio album on February 21, 2025. Before her album So Close To What's release, Tate McRae attended a Spotify Listening Party that was held on February 18, 2025, in Los Angeles. Spotify hosted the event and McRae arrived in an outfit that draws inspiration from moto/streetwear aesthetics.
McRae was seen at the event wearing a black vinyl biker jacket from Courrèges. She paired it with a pair of linen pants that were in contrast with the biker jacket. The pants were from Rick Owens‘ Spring 2025 collection and they had a baggy fit with a ruched effect on the hem. To complete her look, she paired it with white open-toe heels and a diamond ring.
For her makeup and hair, McRae went with her usual look. She let her dirty blonde hair flow in its natural waves. For makeup, she had a little bit of brown eye shadow, a smoky liner look, with some neutral-colored lips.
