A$AP Rocky, real name Rakim Mayers, has been on trial since January 2025, as he was charged with pulling out a gun and opening fire on his former best friend. The charges against the Fashion Killa crooner stated that in November 2021, following a heated discussion between ROCKY and former member of the A$AP MOB, Terell Ephron, ROCKY opened fire a block from the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and some of the bullets grazed Ephron.

According to BBC’s report on January 25, 2025, a jury of seven women and five men was appointed to hear the matter. In one of the partially obscured video evidence presented against ROCKY, a man who was later identified as ROCKY reportedly pulled out a gun.

Additional footage reportedly captured two gunshots as a scuffle ensued between the groups. A$AP ROCKY refused the plea bargain offer and stated that the weapon in question was a prop gun, which was incapable of causing anyone harm.

On February 18, 2025, A$AP ROCKY was acquitted of all charges relating to discharging a weapon at his former friend in 2021. He faced up to 24 years in prison if he was found guilty of the crime.
