Paul Tazewell wore a custom tuxedo in black and white from Dolce & Gabbana for the 2025 Oscars. The tuxedo came with a structured jacket and sleek satin lapels. Underneath, he wore a high-collared white satin shirt with a shiny finish. The shirt was styled with a jeweled brooch at the center of the collar.

He also wore a cropped waistcoat with a high waistband and three large buttons over his satin shirt. Paul wore black tailored trousers to match the jacket.

As for his accessories, he paired the outfit with Bottega Veneta shoes, an IWC Schaffhausen watch, and jewelry from Fred Leighton. He was styled by Linda Medvene, a New York-based stylist.

Paul Tazewell also shared the inspiration behind his outfit in an Instagram post, saying,

"There is so much fashion happening right now so here are some details about my look tonight! In planning this classic look, I drew significant inspiration from the Black dandies of yesteryear. The debut tuxedo from Yves Saint Laurent’s 1966 collection, famously captured by Helmut Newton in Paris, provided the exact silhouette I was seeking."

He further added:

"Dolce and Gabbana’s impeccably tailored classic black and white single-breasted custom tuxedo serves as the perfect foundation, complemented exquisitely by vintage jewelry from Fred Leighton."
