South African singer Tyla is the coverstar of the new NYLON Music Issue. From fame to fashion, the global popstar talks about how she has changed with her music gaining popularity, the pressure which follows, and adapting to the American culture and music industry in the newest issue of NYLON magazine.

For the cover, the singer was styled in a blue Dsquared2 jacket with white stripes over a black LaQuan Smith bodysuit. Other details of the look include red-colored boots from Jimmy Choo and Pandora jewelry.

Fans react as Tyla appears on the NYLON Music Issue

The Twitter account of NYLON Magazine, @NylonMag, shared Tyla's photos from the shoot on April 9, which soon gained the fans' attention.

Along with the cover photo, the post included two more photographs of Tyla in different outfits. In the photo taken on the balcony, the singer is wearing a back top with white stripes and matching socks with matching black and white socks paired with shorts from Colleen Allen and red heels from Amina Muaddi. Jewelry from the Tyla x Pandora collection was used as accessories.

For the second photo, she wore a sheer top, shorts, and a jacket from Chloé in black. Her extra-large earring was a part of Hugo Kreit's collection paired with a Parts of Four bracelet. The look was completed with Les Belles's stay-ups in white color to add a contrast.

Tyla calls the Met Gala her favorite fashion moment

The singer was also asked what her favorite fashion moment was, to which Tyla replied,

"Obviously the Met Gala is always going to be insane. Like, what?! But I really enjoyed my VMA after-party look [a ripped-denim design by fashion student Ishan You] because it felt like me and nothing I really saw before."
