Puma, in collaboration with basketball star LaMelo Ball and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, has unveiled Leonardo & Michelangelo, a new edition of the MB.04 basketball shoes. This pair is designed to merge sports footwear with pop culture elements.
The shoe pays tribute to two iconic TMNT characters: Leonardo and Michelangelo. It will be available for order on February 14, 2025, at 8 PM GMT+5:30. The men’s basketball shoe is priced at $135.00.

The shoes are crafted with a woven mesh upper, the MB.04 prioritizes breathability and support. The 5D printing technology surrounds the shoe from toe to heel and embeds Melo-signature design features. The TPU heel counter provides support for quick movements.
The midsole is made of synthetic and lightweight cushioning. The outsole construction is 100% rubber with resistance to abrasion and contains a special tread pattern in order to improve traction. The topper consists of 59% synthetic fibers and 41% textiles which ensure its strength without losing flexibility. Inside, the lining and sock liner are made of 100% textile.
The heel of the shoe also has the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles logo and the writing M.E.L.O. Branding, the TMNT theme combined with LaMelo Ball signature line. The midsole carries on the orange motif through embossed flame-like designs. The pull tab at the heel is also orange with the rest of the outfit.
