Porsche has released a limited edition Chronograph 1—F.A.T. 2025 edition limited to 136 pieces. Porsche watches are famous for their design, durability, and accuracy.
The Chronograph series by Porsche is one of the most loved series of customers and comprises sturdy watches like Chronograph – Pepita, Chronograph – MARTINI RACING® – Limited Edition, and Chronograph 1 – 75 Years Porsche Edition.
The new Chronograph 1 – F.A.T. 2025 Edition retails for $11,500 and is now available on Porsche's website for purchase. The watch is made in collaboration with F.A.T. International and is sold by Porsche Design of America, Inc.
Design details of Porsche's Chronograph 1 – F.A.T. 2025 Edition Timepiece
Chronograph 1 – F.A.T. 2025 Edition Timepiece takes its inspiration from the 1994 Le Mans car that was used by F.A.T. International in 1994 to win the 24-hour race. The company used a Porsche 962 to win the race, which impressed Ferdi Porsche and led to the restoration of F.A.T. International in 2019.
The description of the new Chronograph 1 – F.A.T. 2025 Edition says,
"The first Chronograph 1 with a white, fully luminescent dial. Developed in close collaboration with the motorsport community F.A.T. International. Made for motorsport enthusiasts and racing drivers."
The brand also described the features by adding,
"Thanks to the fully Super-LumiNova®-coated dial with maximum luminosity and the contrasting matte-black indices and hands, this new edition offers maximum readability at all times of day and night – ideal for use in endurance racing."
The watch has a cast of Porsche 962 on the back and shows its limited edition number. Made with the WERK 01.240 caliber, it also has a flyback function. The back of the watch also has the F.A.T. and Porsche logos for branding.
The date window shows two languages (English and German) and has red lettering, which is inspired by the F.A.T. logo color. The watch comes with three straps, which include black titanium, white textile, and purple textile/leather. The case is made of titanium.
One can also see the shape of the Porsche 962 at the 12-hour mark and the car's name at the 6-hour mark when in the dark. The watch gives 28,800 vibrations per hour and 48 hours of power reserve. The glass used to make the watch is sapphire.
While it's a great limited edition piece to own, the watch may need special maintenance because of its design and high-end movement. Replacing parts, like the straps or movement, could also be expensive or hard to find. If you're a fan of Porsche, you can also check out other watches that are low in price and serve the purpose.
The watch is limited to only 136 pieces worldwide and can be bought for $11,500 + taxes from Porsche's website. The brand is also offering a 30-day return and 4-day shipping on the purchase.
