“OMG HIS IMPACT”: Fans react to BTS’ Jimin’s portrait at “Dior: Designer of Dreams” Seoul exhibition as Most Special Moment of Dior Korea in 2023

Dior has shown appreciation for its ambassador, BTS Jimin, especially, and fans are gushing over it on X. At the Dior Designer of Dreams exhibition held on April 18, 2025, at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza, the luxury brand displayed a portrait of the Korean idol and tagged it as the Most Special Moment of Dior Korea in 2023.

The portrait showed a side profile of the Smeraldo Garden Marching Band hitmaker dressed in a tan leather cape worn above a white shirt and grey slacks. His dark hair is stylishly tousled, with bangs framing his face.

@mhereonlyforbts shared the portrait from the exhibition and captioned it:

“Jimin was featured at the "Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams" exhibition at Seoul's Dongdaemun Design Plaza as the Most Special Moment of Dior Korea in 2023! OMG HIS IMPACT.”

Jimin’s fans flooded the comments with goodwill messages, calling him the “face of Dior” and “Prince of Dior.”

The Dior Designer of Dreams exhibition, held in Seoul, South Korea, was graced by Korean brand ambassadors and friends of the luxury brand. SEVENTEEN’s Mingyu, BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, Han So Hee and Tomorrow X Together were among the popular faces that graced the occasion.

The exhibition celebrated the storied history of the Dior brand and the iconic Lady Dior handbag. BTS Jimin’s portrait was displayed next to other historic Dior moments—Rihanna’s advertisement for the Dior J’adore perfume in 2024, Celine Dion’s comeback performance after her health scare in 2024, and models posed in Dior couture in 2022.

The exhibition also featured artworks from Korean artists like Kim HyunJoo and Sunny Park. Dior also marked the occasion by renewing its partnership with Ewha Womans University.

BTS Jimin was announced as a Dior ambassador on January 16, 2023. Since then, he has been featured in the brand’s menswear Spring 2024 campaign, attended the Dior Homme 2023/2024 show and modeled pieces from the brand.
