Nike Book 1 “USC Home” PE sneakers: Design specifications and more explored 

The Nike Book 1 by Devin Booker will receive another color treatment inspired by the University of Southern California Trojans. The “USC HOME” Players Exclusive sneakers are dressed in red, gold, yellow, and white.

Devin Booker previously released the “USC TROJANS” PE sneakers during the game between the Phoenix Suns and the LA Clippers. The shoes also pay homage to USC with bold red and gold coloring.

For his latest version, Booker opted for warmer colors whilst retaining the USC basketball team's classic red and gold. The shoes are exclusive and, would only be available to the USC Trojans basketball team.

More details on the Nike Book 1 “USC HOME” PE sneakers

The Nike Book 1 has been remixed in PE colorways for different colleges, including Booker’s alma mater, the University of Kentucky. The latest Player Exclusive colorway sees the silhouette draped in a predominantly white colorway with touches of USC’s red appearing on the eyelet, the Swoosh logos on the mudguard, and the outsole.

Traces of red also line the back of the sneakers and “Chapter One” is printed in bold red. Yellow accents make several appearances on the sneakers. The Book logo on the tongue comes in yellow with red accents. Yellow can be seen in the Swoosh on the mudguard and the USC branding on the side.

The lateral heel is also subjected to a red and yellow treatment. Booker’s birth year, 1996, can be spotted on the heel tab. A peek inside the sneakers brings you in contact with the USC logo, which stands out against the otherwise white coloring. The yellow and red outsoles complete the color scheme.

While sneakerheads may never acquire the Book 1 USC HOME, they can keep an eye open for the Book 1 “Mowabb” hitting retail stores sometime in 2025. The “Mowabb” colorway was originally released as a Player’s Exclusive in March 2024 and will see a public release soon.

The Nike Book 1 sneakers are inspired by the Nike ACG hiking boots. The shoe’s design begins with nubuck material before transitioning into tweed in the middle. The predominantly tan color is accented by green, black, and orange shades.

While the Oregon-based brand hasn’t announced a specific release date for the "Mowabb" sneakers, Sneaker News has reported that they might launch sometime in the spring/Summer of 2025. The price tag is reported to be $140. Stay tuned for more updates!
