Just five nights before the Oscars 2025, Ariana Grande and 171 other nominees touched down at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in LA for an intimate dinner. Grande, who was nominated in the Best Supporting Actress category for her role in Wicked Part One, was dressed in a vintage Yves Saint Laurent dress.

The 31-year-old multihyphenate dug into the archives for a black gown with feather-like detailing on the neckline. The gown also featured a sheer skirt which draped to the floor. The ribbon detail on the waist rounded up the chic design. Grande’s hair was styled in an elegant updo. Her nude makeup consisted of soft blush and nude lips.

Ariana Grande joined her cast mate, Cynthia Erivo, who is nominated in the Best Actress category for her role in the Wicked movie, on the red carpet. Both actors channeled their character's favorite colors—Grande with pink detailing for Glinda and Erivo in greenish yellow for Elphaba.

Other nominees present included Timothee Chalamet for his role in A Complete Unknown, Demi Moore for Substance, and Zoe Saldaña for Emilia Pérez. The Academy chose to host a Nominees dinner as against the Nominees Luncheon of previous years.
