Kanye West releases “White Lives Matter” t-shirts and Diddy merch: All you need to know

Kanye West’s Yeezy label has released a collaborative capsule collection with Sean Diddy Combs and also has a t-shirt with "White Lives Matter" inscriptions for sale on its website. West announced his collaboration with Combs, who is awaiting trial for s*x trafficking, conspiracy for racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution on his social media accounts on February 7, 2025.

Kanye West, known for his controversial statements, alleged on February 7, 2025, that he and Combs had been in talks for a partnership before the latter got arrested in September 2024. Ye also revealed that proceeds from the collaboration’s sales would be split equally between him and Combs.

The collection’s pieces consist of 5 colors of T-shirts featuring “Sean John” scrawled across their fronts. The Yeezy website also has a black T-shirt with “White Lives Matter” in white print emblazoned on the front for sale on the website.

Yeezy’s Sean John shirts are presented in five color options—red, blue, white, black, and grey. The shirts feature a simple cut design and the Sean John lettering is printed in black. The shirts are on sale for $20. Diddy posted images of the collection’s pieces on his Instagram and captioned the post, “Thank you to my brother @Ye YEEZY.COM.”

Kanye West has been vocal about his support for the embattled music mogul in recent days. In a tweet on X, he appealed to President Donald Trump to free his brother Puff. He also fired off several tweets, seemingly calling out other celebrities for keeping quiet about Diddy:

He also called Diddy his hero and idol:

Kanye West’s “White Lives Matter” crewneck is available on the Yeezy website for $20. According to a report by People Magazine on October 3, 2022, West wore a black long-sleeve featuring the “White Lives Matter” slogan at his Yeezy Season 9 show at the Paris Fashion Week in October 2022.

Internet personality, Candace Owens also attended the event wearing a white shirt with the slogan printed in black. The news magazine reported that the slogan sparked controversy on the Internet as netizens were divided on its political meaning.
