Kanye West, on February 8, 2025, shared images of a T-shirt with Swastika graphics emblazoned on it and called it his “greatest performance art.” The I Wonder rapper posted the white shirt with the Swastika graphic in black and captioned the post:
"I’ve wanted to make this tee shirt for years. My greatest performance art piece thus far”.

The inverted HH symbol on the shirt is popularly interpreted as the symbol of the N*zi party.
The rapper continued in another tweet:
"I DON'T LIKE THAT I SAID SOCIAL EXPERIMENT I TWEETING EVERYTHING I FELT AND IM NOT FIXING NOTHING F**K EVERYONE."
The rapper’s controversial post on X comes after he released a collaborative capsule collection with incarcerated music mogul, P. Diddy, and a t-shirt with “White Lives Matter” inscriptions for sale on his website for $20. The collection featured crewneck t-shirts with “Sean John” printed on them.

Daily Record UK reported on February 7, 2025, that the controversial rap figure had lost thousands of followers following his series of contentious statements on X formerly known as Twitter. On February 7, 2025, Kanye tweeted that he was a N*zi. He followed after by expressing his love for Adolf Hitler with the tweet:
"I LOVE HITLER. NOW WHAT B***ES."
He defended his Swastika post by alleging that any black person who was offended by it was a programmed slave. When he got called out for his comments labeled as antisemitic on the platform, the 24-time Grammy Award winner refused to back down and tweeted instead:
"IM NEVER APOLOGIZING FOR MY JEWISH COMMENTS I CAN WHATEVER THE F*** I WANNA SAY FOREVER WHERES MY F***ING APOLOGY FOR FREEZING MY ACCOUNTS SUCK MY D*** HOWS THAT FOR AN APOLOGY.”
Kanye West maintained his stance on not apologizing and declared that he’d prefer to speak his mind than remain silent:
“I’D RATHER PAY THE PRICE FOR EXPRESSING MYSELF THAN TO PAY THE PRICE FOR NOT EXPRESSING MYSELF. WOULD YOU RATHER BE HATED FOR YOU ARE OR LOVED FOR WHO YOU AREN’T”
The rapper also made headlines for his wife’s appearance at the Grammy Awards 2025. Bianca Censori, who has been married to West since December 2022, showed up at the event’s red carpet wearing a black fur-lined jacket which she later opened to reveal a mesh
David Schwimmer, Friends alum, amongst others has called for Kanye West’s removal from X, citing his tweets as “hate-filled, ignorant bile.”
