While speaking to Vogue for their Life in Looks segment on April 15, A$AP Rocky apologized to a fan for jumping over her by accident and messing up her glasses.

The rapper was reviewing his 21 fashion looks throughout his career and recalled his 2023 Met Gala look, when he remembered an incident from the night where he accidentally facepalmed a woman:

"I was gonna be late for the Met Gala. I was trying to get in my room, and this poor young little lady, man, I didn't even know that I messed up her glasses. To whoever that young lady was. Again, I apologise. I'm so sorry. I ain't mean to do that, sweetheart. My fault," he said

Videos of the rapper ahead of the Met Gala on May 1, 2023, went viral on the internet, where he can be seen attempting to make his way to the entrance of The Caryle. However, due to the crowd of fans, Rocky got stuck behind a wall of fans and used a nearby onlooker's shoulder to hoist himself over the barrier set up by the hotel, knocking a woman's glasses in the process.

At the time, the fan (@youareasapmadz) posted a selfie in her glasses, after the incident on X, saying:

"A$AP Rocky just literally jumped over me."

Rocky responded to the tweet and followed her account:

@LOL MY FAULY $WEETHEART"

The fan responded to the rapper and mentioned that she's printing his message on a t-shirt.

More of A$AP Rocky's wholesome interactions with his fans

A$AP Rocky's recent recollection of the 2023 Met Gala interaction with a fan isn't the first time the rapper has been known to be kind to his fandom.

During his performance at the Rolling Loud festival in California in 2019, the rapper paused his music after noticing that some fans were on the floor within the crowd. and needed help. Rocky stopped the music immediately and yelled:

"Everybody, back up! Look! Watch out! Pick those girls up, bro! Pick the girls up! Pick the fucking girls up, what's wrong with y'all?"

He then shouted at the crowd to make room for the people, and only resumed the show after confirming that his fans were okay.

In November 2017, the rapper paused his concert to break up a fight between two fans by calling them up on stage and asking them to hug it out. He encouraged the two to reconcile and mentioned that at an A$AP Rocky concert, they are "considered family."
