Troye Sivan is CR FASHION BOOK’s Issue 26 muse, and visuals from the magazine shoot have left the internet buzzing. CRFB shared behind-the-scenes images of the upcoming edition titled The Vagabond Tales featuring Troye Sivan on their Instagram on March 6, 2025.
The photos taken by Sebastian Faena see the Got Me Started hitmaker in the great outdoors against a backdrop of a tent, lake, campfire, and a field of grass. In one of the photos, Sivan spits off a wooden deck.
Pop Base shared it on X, and fans reacted humorously to the eccentricity of the image. One user, @CaptLuffy__, tweeted in response:
“Troye Sivan spitting for fashion? I guess even saliva’s got a price now.”
Some X users were not impressed and expressed such.
“Some people find this top-notch?” A netizen pondered out loud.
“Pissing and spitting in the street. Stay classy kids,” one stated bluntly.
“Where is the decorum?” A user asked.
Others found it expressive of the artist’s unique style.
“Troye Sivan always brings a unique style,” A netizen stated.
“Bold move. Definitely catches attention,” one person noted.
“Dear Troye Sivan consistently showcases a distinctive and ever-evolving sense of style,” a fan tweeted.
Troye Sivan on his musical journey and artistic vision
For The Vagabond Tales CR26 issue, the artist got personal with CRFB’s Vienna Vernose as he spoke on his artistic vision and creative journey. Sivan expressed that he loved his creativity and was driven by it:
“I think that’s the thing I’m most in love with above all else—just being creative. I genuinely have no idea where it’s going to take me. Maybe it’s another album, maybe it’s something completely different. But that’s what makes it exciting.”
The two-time Grammy nominee revealed that the happiest moments of his life were the ones spent surrounded by nature, and he enjoyed being alone. When asked how his career as a YouTube creator had impacted his musical one, he replied that being in the YouTube space positively impacted his singing career and built the community of fans he has now.
"I feel like I was part of one of the first generations that had that option, and it really shaped my sense of community and sense of self. It was super impactful. Having to turn to the internet and be creative also pushed me to reach out—whether through YouTube videos, Tumblr, Twitter, or whatever."
Sivan earned a nomination at the just-concluded Grammy Awards ceremony in February 2025. He was nominated in the Best Dance Pop Recording category for his hit song, Got Me Started.
