The event is a fundraising gala in honor of the Louvre Couture: Art and Fashion — Statement Pieces exhibit. The grand event attracted a diverse lineup of stars, including BLACKPINK’s Jisoo and rapper Doechii, who made notable appearances.

The director of the decorative arts department at the Louvre Museum Olivier Gabet told Women's Wear Daily,

"This is really the first time that the Louvre has decided to create an exhibition about the relationship between fashion and its own collections," Gabet said at the time.
