This week was witness to Louis Vuitton’s Men’s Fall/Winter 2025 fashion show on January 21, 2025, at the famous Louvre’s Cour Carrée in Paris. This was the fourth ‘RUNWAY SHOW’ in succession under the art direction of Pharrell Williams.

He joined hands with Japanese designer Nigo, the art director known for Kenzo. The duo of Williams and Nigo, the leaders of the streetwear segment, helped introduce a new twist to the line.

This collection was a perfect mixture of the oriental and the American spirit, having cherry blossoms on clothes and jeans. This combination emphasized the sophistication of Japanese workmanship, brought in line with Nigo’s background. It incorporated the elements of the American iconic spirit characteristic of Williams.

During the runway, the models wore chunky wool suits, bomber jackets, leather bermudas, and coats and outfits of pastel and shades of autumn with the emphasized psychedelic logo of the brand.

Accompanying shoes and accessories were colorful speedy bags, lobster claw charms, pearls, and thick bangles and necklaces.

Small suede utility pockets were incorporated as details of functionality and aesthetics in one, which is Louis Vuitton's aesthetic all along. Silver rings and earrings were chunky and enameled with hardware details that echoed the shape of the House’s trunks, giving a biker edge to the accessories division.

Brass charm bracelets with charms including trunks, teddy bears, bowling balls, croissants, and Speedy bags were seen as fun statements for the clothes.

One of the highlights in the ramp show is the South Korean actor Gong Yoo who went viral on social media after entering in a creative manner. Having earned his popularity through the film Train to Busan and the worldwide pop culture phenomenon Squid Game, Gong Yoo wowed everyone present with his sharp dress.

He wore a perfectly fitted suit that was so stylish that he was in line with the show, which was, you may recall, the mix of tradition and modernity. Finally, getting a dose of charm, Gong Yoo fired the gun pose from Squid Game much to the delight of the fans and photographers.

Notable Looks from the Louis Vuitton’s Men’s Fall/Winter Fashion Show

One of the most discussed ensembles belonging to the collection was a deep sleeve of suede with high-waisted navy blue trousers and a Louis Vuitton branded baseball cap.

During this episode, we realized that it does not take large necklaces, bold lipsticks, or dramatic hairstyles to make a statement on the show. Through the choice of the textile patterns and the color, it is possible to get a nice reflection that people liked.

The show was held in Paris, and it was an appealing synchronization of tradition and modernity and the East and the West both in terms of attire and presentation. What happened when Pharrell Williams and Nigo joined forces? There was a celebration of the brand’s legacy while at the same time an investigation into the future of modern menswear.

Having such global celebrities as Gong Yoo at the event made the event very attractive, and of course, the Paris Fashion Week has become one of my most memorable moments. And, as the world of fashion and design proceeds with its movement, Louis Vuitton is on the crest of the wave, leading it in the direction of defining and creating great contemporary luxury.
