Griff is one of the faces of The North Face’s Mountain Jacket's latest campaign. On February 25, 2025, the brand shared images of the London-based pop artist on its Instagram account, wearing a hooded 40th-anniversary edition of the Mountain Jacket in red and black.
The Vertigo hitmaker paired the jacket with a black bodysuit and wide-leg pants. Black sneakers from the brand round up the casual ensemble. Griff opted for a no-makeup look with light red lips. Her hair was stylishly braided. For accessories, the singer rocked silver earrings and a necklace.
The brand captioned the post:
“An icon of exploration meets an icon of expression. The Mountain Jacket featuring @WiffyGriffy”
The campaign featuring Griff celebrates the 40th anniversary of the brand’s Mountain Jacket.

The 40th-anniversary collection features two improved variants of the Mountain Jacket — the Retro Denali Gore-Tex version and the DRYVENT Mono iteration. The Retro Denali is designed with pit zips, alpine pockets, waterproof fabric, and a non-PFC DWR finish to ensure the jacket repels water in humid weather.
The silhouette also features an adjustable, two-piece hood with a drawcord that makes adjusting easier. The adjustable hook-and-loop cuff tabs and the embroidered logo round up the design. This Gore-Tex jacket is available for $400 on the brand’s website.
The other standout design from the 40th anniversary collection, the DRYVENT Mono Mountain Jacket, comes in black and blue colorblocking and camo design. The jackets are seam-sealed with a single-layer construction for protection from water and wind.
The jacket incorporates the brand’s signature Windwall technology and Zip-in system. The jacket is available from $200-$250 on the brand’s website.
The jacket, designed by Ingrid Harshbarger in 1985, has become a staple outerwear and has seen different reiterations from collaborations with other brands like Supreme, Maison Margiela, and Kaws. The jacket has found favor with celebrities like A$AP Rocky, LL Cool J, and Nas, amongst others.
The North Face finds Griff’s philosophy about self-discovery, expressed through her music, compatible with their vision to highlight budding talent. The artist, in a statement, described being the face of the 40th-anniversary collection as a medium for self-expression:
"Just like music, it's just as important to me to express myself through fashion and the clothes I wear. Having the opportunity to work with an iconic brand like The North Face and being a part of the global campaign for the 40th anniversary of the Mountain Jacket has been amazing."
