More details on the first anniversary of Beyoncé's Cécred
For its first anniversary celebrations, the hair care brand announced the launch of its products at over 1,400 Ulta Beauty stores. According to a WWD report on February 20, 2025, Cécred’s partnership with Ulta Beauty is described by Beyoncé as "representing a meaningful milestone in our journey of getting Cécred in the aisles and salons nationwide for everyone to experience.”
The 35-time Grammy Award winner revealed to WWD that her vision for Cécred was to create products appreciated by all hair types:
"My vision for Cécred has always been to be an inclusive force of excellence, investing in research, science, and testing for all hair types. As a Black founder, there are misconceptions that we can only make products for hair like ours. Society has trained us to focus on our differences, and it's kept us in boxes."
Tina Knowles is backing Beyoncé up at Cécred as the Vice chairwoman and is using her knowledge as a salon owner to assist her daughter in growing the business.
Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter tour is scheduled to start in April 2025 and end in July 2011.
