Mercedes-Benz just launched the CLA car design, and it has recruited Ice Spice and KidSuper into its Class of Creators project to create promotional content. The German automobile company marked the launch of its newest brainchild with a star-studded party at Villa Miani in Rome on March 14, 2025. Celebrities in attendance included Camila Cabello, Tyla, Romeo Beckham, Central Cee, Mimi Keene, and will.i.am.

The Class of Creators project will see rapper Ice Spice, Gustaf Westman, and artist and fashion designer Colm Dillane, aka KidSuper, the League of Legends gaming platform, and the Hot Wheels toy car brand creating: “visions and content inspired by the all-new CLA as a creative platform.”

The launch party saw several attendees decked in finery to celebrate Mercedes' creative excellence. Camilla Cabello wore a grey Peter-Pan dress from Dolce & Gabbana, complete with a triangle-cut front and a knotted ribbon.

The Havana hitmaker complemented the mini-length dress with black skin tights and black stiletto pumps. Her signature wavy hairstyle with bangs rounded off the ensemble.

Central Cee showed up in casual streetwear—a Louis Vuitton crewneck shirt, black pants, and sneakers. The British rapper rounded up his swag with a black and white bandana.

KidSuper showed up in an elegant cream-colored two-piece, which he paired with a black shirt and brown loafers. Valentina Pahde looked stunning in a red leather two-piece. Her pointy-toed shoes and ruffled shirt accented the bright-colored look.

Clara Berry adopted the sheer outfit trend in a black dress with gathers on the waist and floor-length drapes. Ice Spice opted for a form-fitting dress. Her signature orange hair finished off the sophisticated look. Tyla entertained guests at the event in a red halter-necked fringe dress styled with golden strappy heels.

At the event, Bettina Fetzer, Vice President of digital and communications for Mercedes-Benz, commented on the significance of launching the CLA automobile in Rome:

"Rome has an incredible history of culture, art, and design, and it is the perfect place for us to reveal our all-new CLA. This new CLA is the cleverest car we’ve ever made and sets new standards for now and into the future,”

Ola Kaellenius, Chief Executive Officer of Mercedes-Benz Group AG, echoed the above sentiments in a statement:

“The premiere of the new CLA car in Rome was as “iconic and timeless as Mercedes-Benz — was more than just another car launch. It marks the beginning of a new era for Mercedes-Benz and our customers.”

Fans can expect collaborative projects between their favorite artists and the Mercedes company as the year progresses.
