Jewell Loyd x Nike GT Cut 3 PE sneakers: First look, design speculations, and everything we know so far 

The Oregon-based label recently appeared in headlines after the news of the release of Jewell Loyd x Nike GT Cut 3 PE appeared on the internet. Reportedly, the Nike GT Cut 3 PE version of the American basketball guard will mark its debut sometime in April 2025. The PE shoe will be decked in a White/Racer Blue-Baltic Blue-Pink Foam-Black-Lightening palette.

The Jewell Loyd x Nike GT Cut 3 PE sneakers will be dropped with a retail price tag of $190 per pair. Sneaker fans can stay connected with Nike’s online stores as the pairs will be available for purchase at Nike.com, and other offline stores.

Jewell Loyd x Nike GT Cut 3 PE sneakers are splattered with paint on top

Jewell Loyd, a 31-year-old basketball star, and the Swoosh label had previously collaborated to produce a vivid Nike GT Cut 3 hue. Previously, in May 2024, the two companies collaborated to redesign the Nike GT Cut 3 basketball shoe model in a multicolor scheme. For the latest PE iteration, the duo have once again painted the shoe in the multicolor format.

The new player exclusive basketball sneaker of Jewell Loyd was entirely covered in a mix of splattered paint. The toe boxes, side panels, tongue flaps, sole units, and heel areas.

Towards the front, the black embroidered details are shown that offer a design to an otherwise splattered surface. The vivid foundation of the pair is topped with white Nike Swoosh on the sides. Furthermore, the sneakers feature blue lace sets sitting on top.

The branding accents of the sneakers appear on the pull tabs sitting on the tongue flaps. On the rear side, the heel counters have suede overlays that are embroidered with the phrasing “Go be great!.” The inner lining of the shoe is done using blue fabric, while the footbed has a striking green printed insole.

Rounding out the footwear is the mixed-color sole unit. Underneath, the sole unit has a characteristic Nike Swoosh design.

The Swoosh label’s website stated that the GT Cut 3 model is the brand’s first basketball shoe to feature ZoomX foam midsole. Nike further highlighted the model’s features in the following words:

“The new G.T. Cut 3 from Nike is a superstar basketball sneaker specially designed for extraordinary responsiveness and traction, with high cushioning to help you separate from your opponent with as much speed as possible. This speed is thanks to the sneaker's ZoomX foam midsole, a feature never seen before in a Nike basketball shoe.”
