Grand Seiko has added three new models to its Heritage Collection, as a part of Spring/Summer 2025, all of which are inspired by Japan's famous cherry blossom. These watches, which have traditional Japanese design elements, are classified into two groups according to the style of their dials.
Two of the models have the "Sakura‐Kakushi" dial, while the third one is identified by the "Sakura‐Tukiyo" variation. The watches will be available at Grand Seiko boutiques, and select retailers worldwide from April 2025. They are priced at $31,200 and $6,400 each, respectively.

The two Sakura Kakushi models are based on a common theme, that can be classified as hidden cherry blossoms. Whereas, the design of the Sakura Tukiyo variant is based on the cherry blossom as seen during a moonlit night.
Hi-Beat 3600 "Sakura Kakushi" SBGH368: priced at $31,200
Featuring an 18K rose gold casing that has been Zaratsu polished, the GS SBGH368 "Sakura‐Kakushi" captures the spirit of early spring with its warm pink dial that softly changes in light to portray cherry blossoms obscured by snow.
The 38mm case is encased in an anti-reflective coating and accompanied by a brown crocodile leather strap that represents the trunk of a cherry tree. Its 55-hour power reserve and accuracy rate of +5 to -3 seconds per day are both provided by the automatic Grand Seiko Caliber 9S85. Practical features like a screw-down crown, magnetic resistance up to 4,800 A/m, and 10-bar water resistance are included in the watch.
"Sakura Kakushi" STGK031: priced at $6,400
Design inspiration for the STGK031 comes from "Sakura-Kakushi," often known as "hidden cherry blossoms." The dial of this model catches the subtle appeal of late-spring snowfall covering cherry blossoms. Thanks to the brand's signature attention to detail, the watch exemplifies the refined craftsmanship and design that Grand Seiko is known for.
Technically, the STGK031 is driven by an automatic movement of the Caliber 9S27 kind. This mechanism has a power reserve of around 50 hours and an accuracy rate of +8 to -3 seconds each day. Case size and materials are carefully chosen to harmonize with the entire design, guaranteeing long-lasting comfort.
"Sakura-Tukiyo" STGK033: priced at $6,400
This STGK033 is a perfect example of the "Sakura-Tukiyo" motif, which means "cherry blossoms in the moonlit night." Featuring a dial that depicts the tranquil beauty of moonlit cherry blossoms, this model exhibits a design that is both contrasting and harmonious. The clock embodies the brand's commitment to expressing the core of natural occurrences via its mechanisms.
