BLACKPINK's Jennie is doing her thing: making new hits, topping the charts, and posing for magazine covers. She was featured on Volume 13 of Homme Girls magazine's cover, which is also a clothing brand created by American designer, Thakoon Panichgul. While Jennie just became Homme Girls' cover girl, the internet is unsure about this new direction the ExtraL singer is taking.

Homme Girls posted a picture of Jennie on their official Instagram account. The photo taken by Stevie Dance featured her topless, holding two items that look like plaster flowers in her hands to cover her br**sts. In their post's caption, Homme Girls introduced Jennie as:

"She’s a force. A phenomenon. And now @jennierubyjane is a HG cover girl 🌹 Ever since she burst onto the music scene in 2016, JENNIE has redefined what it means to be a global icon. And now, she’s boldly stepping into a new era with her new album, RUBY — an ode to love, beauty, and being JENNIE." - @hommegirls posted.

Jennie from BLACKPINK is a South Korean artist, and it is known that Korean culture can be quite conservative. Many Blinks were not happy with this "new" version of Jennie. Koreaboo shared a blurred photo of the Homme Girl cover photo on their X account, saying that the photoshoot is being met with backlash. One user commented on the post, saying:

"Don't know how this is a fashion ... Looks like a kid holding 2 toys and standing there ..😁 " - @mysticluna14381 wrote.

"It's not garlic, it's plaster camellias. and what does it have to do with her being Asian? she's thin, but she's a grown, beautiful woman. and she didn't choose the cover and the photographer. aesthetically, it's not my favorite, but that doesn't mean she's trying to be sl**ty 🤦‍♀️" - @eaniretak expressed.

Others thought that the cover photo was not "fashion". They expressed:

"What kind of fashion is this ? Bro tf ?" - @agustdsquad wrote.
"Absolutely right - she is an influencer to many younger people and should be more careful. Not impressed" - @lioexa added.
