The new design combines the mechanical expertise of the MB&F brand with Bvlgari’s signature design. The brands describe their brainchild as an emblem of eternal rebirth and bold metamorphosis.
The Serpenti watch comes in three colors --Red Gold, Steel Black PVD, and Titanium. Each colorway is limited to 33 pieces each. The limited edition watches reportedly come with a price tag of $170k+.

The brands had previously collaborated to launch the LM FlyingT Allegra in 2021. Their second collaboration has birthed a new version of the Serpenti. The new watch silhouette combines the storied history of the Serpenti introduced in 1948 with the mechanical redevelopment.
The watch comes in three colors—green, black and blue. For each color option, the dials are set in matching hues with the watch's clasps. The watches are made from 18k rose gold with green hour and minute domes, grade 5 titanium with blue domes, or black stainless steel coated with PVD with red domes.
According to the MB&F website, Fabrizio Buonamassa Stigliani, the director of watchmaking creation at Bvlgari, worked with Maximilian Busser, founder and creative director of MB&F, to bring the Serpenti watch to life using sapphire crystals for the eyes and curved metals with antireflective coatings for the rear section. The watch case also mirrors a car’s bodywork with sapphire crystals positioned like the flaps on the rear window of a sports car.
The watch’s crown is also reminiscent of a car wheel. The watch’s mechanism also copies some of the components of a car engine, like a grille featuring Serpenti’s signature hexagonal scale motifs.
Jean-Christophe Babin, the CEO of Bvlgari group, spoke on the collaboration between the Maisons of both houses and its significance:
“I am delighted to see our two Maisons unite again for an extraordinary creation, reimagining our brand’s most famous icon, Serpenti, into an astonishing design powered by a beautiful MB&F caliber,”
He continued:
“Our collaboration is unique in the watch world because it bridges the two souls of our Maisons and gives birth to a timeless treasure – a true collectible piece. The first-ever truly genderless Serpenti shows that superlative watchmaking can be generated by the unexpected pooling of talents like Max and Fabrizio.”
