Nike Air Jordan 1 High OG “UNC Reimagined” sneakers boast a blue and sail makeup
The Air Jordan 1 High OG “UNC Reimagined” shoes will have primarily two shades Sail and Dark Powder Blue. The shoe will be made using leather and suede fabric placed on some parts of the high-top sneaker.
Firstly, the toe box has perforations for ventilation for the user. The toe-top has a Sail color, as shown in the first look. These toe tops are encompassed with Dark Powder Blue on the mudguards. The midfoot section has Sail underlays, topped with blue Swoosh overlays.
The tongue flaps appear in Sail, while the eyelets have a Powder Blue finish. The tongue area is wrapped up with crisp white lace sets. Around the collar, the blue leather makeup seems adorned with the white Air Jordan Wings logo. The heel counter and inner lining are blue. Rounding out the pair is the worn-like yellowish midsole, which is glued to the powder blue outer sole unit.
The Swoosh’s official site underlines the beginnings of the Jordan 1 sneaker model in the following manner:
“The first shoe to ever be worn in the NBA with multiple colorways, the OG black and red was originally banned for violating the league’s uniform policy, and was threatened with a $5,000 fine every game it was worn. The OG’s legacy lives on through the Air Jordan 1 Retro, honoring a legend that expanded the game’s creative potential and redefined basketball’s connection to style and culture.”
Besides the aforementioned AJ1 shoes, Nike’s Jumpman label has other colorways of AJ1 in its 2025 launch roster, including Air Jordan 1 High’ 85 “Bred,” Union LA x Air Jordan 1 High, Off-White x Jordan 1 “Euro,” and more. These releases will also be offered via the websites of Nike and other Jordan retailers in 2025.
