adidas communicated the inspiration behind the shoes on its website by stating,

The synthetic upper of the shoes is made in black color combined with black shoelaces and branding on the tongue in red. The midsole and outsole are white in color with lucid red accents on the outsole. The adidas logo is added to the back of the shoes in lucid red. The sneakers come in a regular fit and are true to their size.
