Starting at number one is ESSENCE 2025 honoree Cynthia Erivo. As usual, Erivo is styled by her well-loved stylist, Jason Bolden. The dress that Cynthia Erivo wore is very Elphaba-coded with a black tulle ballgown and a little tulle cape from Maison Margiela Artisanal. And, of course, Erivo arrived with her stunning and elaborately done nails.

Teyana Taylor

Adding another ESSENCE 2025 honoree to the list of best-dressed individuals from the event. Teyana Taylor rocks a custom Amiri dress in a shade that is almost "Pantone Color of the Year: Mocha Mousse." The dress has an asymmetrical cut-out design with a thigh-high slit and a deep plunging back. Taylor accessories with a golden ear cuff and a simple gold necklace.

Keke Palmer

Keke Palmer dressed to match. With her bright orange hair and her Christian Dior orange two-piece set from John Galliano's Spring 2003 Haute Couture collection, she is glowing. The ensemble included an orange corset with a see-through mermaid skirt with embroidery and feathers at the hem. The dress deserves a place on the best-dressed list.

Taraji P. Henson

Taraji P. Henson arrived in a powder blue Prabal Gurung fitted blazer dress. She color-blocked the look with hot pink open-toe heels. She kept it simple and classy with a pair of drop earrings and a ring. As for her makeup look, she had a more sultry brown lip with a smoky eye shadow. Taraji has also accessorized her nails with Swarovski crystals for added bling.

Storm Reid

Hi-low skirts are going to be back in trend, and the credit goes to Storm Reid and designer Cong Tri. For the luncheon, she is wearing a lime green hi-low skirt paired with a sky blue top and cropped shirt. The color palette gives Little Mermaid vibes with her reddish-brown hair styled in waves. She completed the look with a silver crystal studded clutch and silver strappy sandals.

Kat Graham

Kat Graham is reviving the Canadian tuxedo with her Essence Black Women in Hollywood Awards 2025 look. She is wearing Izakova, complete with an all-denim shirt, vest, blazer, jeans, and boots too. She had a slick side-part hairstyle with metallic brown eyeshadow and nude lipstick.
