6 best Pharrell Williams outfits over the years

Pharell Williams has worked with many fashion designers and brands to know what is right or wrong when it comes to fashion. Have a peek at some of Williams' best looks over the years.

NERD Belt

Pharrell Williams has never been afraid to accessorize. One of his iconic looks dates back to June 2003 at the 3rd Annual BET Awards. For the event, Williams showed up in a black T-shirt, black bomber jacket, paired with a pair of camo cutoffs, and black and white gingham boxers. What really stole the show was his prominent N.E.R.D. belt buckle that he showed off for the pictures.

Billionaire Boys Club T-shirt

Another iconic look that Pharrell Williams had donned in the past was his white T-shirt with a pink graphic print of his own brand "Billionaire Boys Club". He wore this to the 2006 MTV Video Music Awards. To add to this aesthetic, he wore denim jorts, yes, they were a trend back then. For accessories, he went all out with lots of bling and chains around his neck, a jewel-studded cuff, a golden ring, studs, and a red cap worn sideways. For footwear, Williams was seen in a metallic purple, pink, and silver pair of kicks.

Big Baller fur coat

Back in 2004, Pharrell decided to add some fur to his style. For the Roberto Cavalli Gala Dinner at the MMA, Williams paired an oversized fur coat with a pair of denim jeans, a white button-up shirt with the first few buttons undone, and a black Gucci belt.

Blurred Lines outfit

For a very disco-esque aesthetic, Pharrell Williams wore a metallic silver jacket and light brown metallic pants for the music video with Robin Thicke. Some can even describe this style as space or NASA-inspired.

Keeping the silver and the sparkles in mind, Pharrell wore a sparkling blazer that resembled a disco ball for his performance with Daft Punk and Nile Rodgers. All of them wore matching outfits. While Pharrell donned black sunglasses, the other two artist wore their signature head gear.

Brit Awards 2014 outfit

Pharrell Williams is not only known for his outfits but for his headgear/hats as well. At the Brit Awards in 2014, he wore a Vivienne Westwood hat that garnered lots of attention online. In addition to the hat, he wore a whimsical suit that included ripped denim jeans with patches of tartan cloth stitched to it. He paired it with a checked button-up shirt and a beige coat.

It is clear that Pharrell Williams' influence extends way beyond just his music. From his bold, unforgettable accessories to his signature hats, Williams continues to push the boundaries of fashion and shows no signs of following the crowd.
