Actor Miles Teller will be collaborating with Paramount Pictures on the upcoming Olympics-themed movie, Winter Games, according to Deadline.

According to the outlet, the film shall be helmed by Paul Downs Colaizzo. He is also jointly writing it with Pat Cunnane. Established as a playwright and screenwriter, Colaizzo has directed the 2019 film "Brittany Runs a Marathon." It stars Jillian Bell, Michaela Watkins, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Lil Rey Howery, and many others.

This time, too, Colaizzo will incorporate the theme of sports into the forthcoming film, starring Miles Teller, as it is set in the context of the Winter Olympics.

According to reports from Deadline, the film follows the story of romance and reclamation that brews between an indelibly neglected snowrider and a self-destructive hockey player, in the face of the crucial Winter Olympic Games.

Quoting Deadline, the synopsis of the film goes as follows:

The film revolves around the high-stakes arena of the Winter Olympic Games, a perpetually overlooked skier and a self-sabotaging hockey legend who collide at their breaking points. Their unexpected connection threatens her chance for a medal and his shot at a comeback as they navigate romance and redemption in the Olympic Village.

Paramount Pictures shall handle the film's distribution. Production company Star Thrower shall be backing the film's production, as Tim White and Trevor White are on board. Miles Teller also joins them in producing the film.

The Winter Olympic Games are a major sports event that takes place every four years. Participants worldwide participate in various sports competitions. The event has been in existence since the year 1924.

The next Winter Olympic Games shall be held in 2026. The event shall take place at Cortina d'Ampezzo and Milan, Italy. It shall commence on 6th February and conclude on 22nd February 2026.

In the film Winter Games, it looks like several worlds are once again colliding in creative collaborations. This is not the first time Miles Teller has worked with Paramount Pictures. The film that paved the path for the actor's immense success, Top Gun: Maverick, was distributed by Paramount Pictures. Star Thrower had also worked with Miles Teller and Pat Cunnane in Eternity.
