The world becomes scary when a beloved childhood character takes on a dark role, and this is what fans saw in Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 1 and 2. This Twisted Childhood Universe has children's favorite Winnie-the-Pooh and his friend Piglet as killers terrorizing people.

The first film titled Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey came out in 2023, followed by the second installment in March 2024. The dark reimaging of the cartoon character worked really well, allowing the makers to consider another part and develop more films under the Twisted Childhood Universe.

As seen in the first film, Winnie-the-Pooh and Piglet are the titular villains, after they're abandoned by Christopher Robin who begins his college. While the original version crafted by A.A. Milne had the cartoon character making sweet memories, Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey reimagines them as horrifying characters.

The first film began five years after Christopher Robin had gone to college, leaving behind Piglet and Pooh. Little did Robin know that the two would transform into ruthless killers in his presence, and worsen the situation after Christopher returned with his fiancée, Mary.

While Robin was happy to return, Pooh and Piglet didn't seem to have liked him with Mary. As a result, they both ambushed Robin and Mary, followed by committing murders in the Hundred Acre Wood. The film takes an even more haunting turn when the furious bear goes after Christopher Robin's friends.

This happened after a group of friends gathered to enjoy a party and ended up being hunted down by Piglet and Pooh. They used heinous methods to kill the students, making it scarier than you can imagine a beloved cartoon character muring people.

Throughout the first film, Christopher tries to escape Pooh after realizing his childhood friends have turned into murderers. The second film came this year and performed better than the first installment.

The story follows the events of the first film as Christopher returns to Ashdown terrified by the Hundred Acre Massacre (the murders Pooh committed in the past). Despite Christopher trying hard to tell the truth, nobody initially believed him. While he's struggling with past trauma, Christopher gets blamed for the murders.

Piglet and Pooh are kicked out of their house, and the two decide to get back at Christopher in Ashdown. As the film pressed, Pooh and his friend began eliminating the residents.

After a series of murders, Pooh and Christopher confront each other at the end of Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2, where Christopher Robin killed Pooh with an ax.

The twist? Pooh isn't dead! Despite Christopher killing Pooh with an ax, his body was received by an owl and taken back to their hideout. This means Pooh is still alive, and is set to return for the third installment.

The third film will likely follow the events of the second film, as Owl brought him back to life, and they will continue to hunt down innocent people. Fans have been curious about other cartoon characters joining the murderous Pooh, one of which is Rabbit.

Though he didn't appear in the previous films, fans will finally get to see Rabbit in the third installment along with Heffalumps, and the Woozles. Apart from the dark characters, Christopher Robin and Lexy are the two serving characters most likely to show up in Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 3.

Not only this but Jagged Edge also confirmed the horror version of Avengers: Infinity War, titled Poohniverse: Monsters Assemble. Similar to the Avengers, this horror film will have cartoon characters from Twisted Childhood Universe including Tinkerbell, Bambi, Peter Pan, Pinocchio, Tigger, The Mad Hatter, Piglet, and Sleeping Beauty.

Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 is on Peacock.
