Will there be a Henry Danger 2? Sequel speculations, explored

After the Nickelodeon TV series took on a fresh take with Henry Danger: The Movie topping streaming charts on Paramount+, fans would already be thinking about a film's sequel. Officially, we have to disappoint them, as there is no plan for a sequel. Story-wise? It will be incomplete without a sequel.

Kids have gone mature and the mature ones have gone older with this one but the energy from the TV series remains the same. Even if they can't do a sequel, a spin-off will do just fine as far as the continuation of the story is concerned.

The film was released on January 17, 2025, on Nickelodeon and Paramount+, with over 140K viewers watching it on the day. Then it went uphill and stayed at top for three days on Paramount+ before slipping to number 4 yesterday, which dropped further to 9 at the time of writing.

What are the chances of Henry Danger 2 happening?

It's not just the story that counts but how the film will perform commercially that matters the most in most cases. If creators are thinking anything like Kevin Costner, who is developing Horizon: The American Saga, which is something that's been on the back of his mind for decades, then we can definitely expect a sequel.

It seems like they have intentionally left the public with a cliffhanger but that's good and bad at the same time. In case there is no Henry Danger 2 coming out, it will be just left hanging as Captain Man needed help from his former sidekick. He is likely hoping to join forces with him.

So it would be a shame if we didn't get to see another adventure. If the movie performs, then the creators won't have difficulty carrying on; maybe they already have something on their minds.

If they are anything about the fans, then they need to consider that they are up for it. This one fan wants to see Henry Danger 2 and not a spin-off. The user writes,

"Hoping for a second movie instead of a spinoff series."

And then there's another one who has a legit reason to see a sequel. The user says,

"It most definitely a second movie explaining what happened to danger force & why Captain man is back."

Remember what the film's director said about this mysterious project?

"After this I'm going over to a show called 'Elsbeth' on CBS. I'm going to do that, and then (I'll be) developing something that will be after that that we'll hopefully be announcing shortly."

But that's very unlikely; the widely popular Henry Danger might have seen the end, as OregonLive reported recently. However, no sources or any official statements were included in it. Not just a movie, the publication writes that it won't be returning as a TV show either, which is believable given that it ended in 2020.

Also, it's not simply about a sequel, but Jace Norman too, who has been playing the character since 2014. Although he hasn't said anything, doing something for a long time can make things monotonous, so that factor plays a role too. A last adventure would be a sure shot to close the story for good but everything, and everybody, needs to be in alignment.
