Trash Boat was supposed to perform from January 27, 2025, to February 17, 2025, in venues across mainland UK and Europe. The band has now, however, canceled the new tour via a post on their X page on December 19, 2024, stating that the decision to cancel the tour was made after careful consideration:

"We are devastated to have to announce that our upcoming UK and EU tour is being cancelled. This decision was not made lightly, as we worked hard to try and make these shows happen. However, after careful consideration, we realised we would not be able to deliver a show that meets the standards you deserve and that we hold ourselves to. "

The statement ends with the band stating that they will return after the break and thanked their fans for showing the band their continued love and support over the years.

Refunds for the tickets will be available from the official point of purchase, as mentioned in the announcement. Authorized vendors such as Ticketmaster most often automatically process refunds within 30 days of cancelation. Those who purchased tickets from third-party vendors will need to visit the said vendors for refund details.

Trash Boat released their album in 2024

Trash Boat released their latest album, Heaven Can Wait, on October 4, 2024. Band member Tobi Duncan talked about the EP in an exclusive interview with Kerrang on September 11, 2024, stating:

"I think people should rely less on idolising charisma and [focus] more on honesty. I don’t like how it’s becoming a cult of personality when it comes to conflict resolution, or dealing with overly complicated social issues that we face, like gender identity, politics, anything."

The band member continued:

"It’s so easy to find someone that talks about these things who is very direct, very strong, they [seem] like they know what they’re talking about and they’re confident, but they’re just so misguided and chatting absolute sh*te."

He later talked about the struggles that inspired the album, statin:

"I started to just feel a residual feeling of fear every day. Whatever chemicals were in my brain, for some reason, those chemicals left the building. I spent about six months just terrified of literally anything. I’d wake up in the morning and the prospect of getting out of bed filled me with dread."

He talked about his struggle to work while going through the fear and dread cycle, talking about the fear he felt while thinking of the then-upcoming tour. Duncan went on to talk about the lack of hierarchy in the band and how it helps them keep humble as artists, all working together.
