Wayne Northrop, best known for his on-screen romance with Diedre Hall in Days of Our Lives passed away on November 29, 2024, at the age of 77. The actor married Lynn Herring Northrop, and had two children, Hank and Grady Northrop.
Northrop met the love of his life, his wife in an acting class. The pair shared their passion for acting and drama as both artists worked in the entertainment industry. As the legendary actor rose to fame by portraying Roman Brandy in Days of Our Lives and Dynasty, his wife was known for playing Lucy Coe on General Hospital.
The couple decided to tie the knot on May 9, 1981. Later, Northrop’s passion for Wildlife and conservation led him to purchase a working cattle ranch in Raymond, California, where he spent more than three decades. In 2008, the couple converted the oldest house in Raymond (constructed in 1886) into a local museum.
They became parents to two sons – Hank Northrop (born on January 8, 1991), and Grady Northrop (born on July 20, 1993). Their sons went on to pursue acting as a career.
