Amy Adams recently opened up to the idea of playing Taylor Swift’s publicist, Tree Paine in a potential biopic.
During an episode on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Adams responded to Fallon when he shared a social media post from Hunter Harris which mentioned that “Amy Adams would win an Oscar” for portraying Tree Paine.
The Enchanted actor said: “That would be amazing. That would be so fun. I mean… if it got me closer to Taylor, then that would be fun.”
Admitting that she is a Swiftie, the actor said, “I have always liked her music and appreciated her and then I went to the Eras Tour, a friend of mine had the ticket, and then I became a Swiftie at fifty.”

Tree Paine also known as Trina “Tree” Paine is an American public relations executive. Born in 1971 or 1972 she grew up in California and attended the University of Southern California. In the early stages of her career, Paine worked for famous record labels including Interscope Records and Warner Music Nashville before she launched her own PR firm called Premium PR in 2014.
It was in the same year that Taylor Swift became her first and exclusive client and has continued to date. Before Paine, Swift worked with publicist Paula Erickson, as per a report in The Wall Street Journal.
Since 2014, Tree Paine has been instrumental in shaping Taylor Swift’s musical career and her public image. From handling controversies like the feud between Kanye West and Taylor Swift in 2020 to giving counterstatements, Paine has managed it all like a champ.
