Tim Lambesis's wife, Dany Lambesis, is a model, singer, bodybuilder, and painter. Her maiden name is Dany Ciara. She is the singer's third wife, with his previous wives being Meggan Murphy-Lambesis and Amanda Dubord, respectively.
Recently, allegations of domestic violence emerged on the internet against Tim Lambesis, with one Reddit post speculating that the allegations would surface soon and that these were responsible for the other band members leaving Lambesis's band As I Lay Dying.
Now Dany Lambesis has come forward to refute the allegations of domestic violence leveled against her husband, stating in an Instagram post on October 25, 2024:
"I am writing this statement to address the recent rumors circulating on social media regarding my husband, Tim Lambesis, and the allegations of domestic violence. It has come to my attention that false claims have been made, suggesting that my husband has harmed me. I want to make it unequivocally clear that these allegations are completely false. My husband has never caused harm to me in this manner, and I am deeply saddened by the unfounded rumors that have emerged during this challenging time for his band. There has never been an incident that warrants such accusations."
Dany continued:
"We have had our relationship issues like many other couples, but nothing to the degree of domestic violence or what is being portrayed online. It deeply saddens me that I find myself in a position where I must publicly explain my personal life and relationship because of flat out lies. It is completely unjust that everything spread the way it did and nobody even considered my voice to be heard through it all. This is unfair to both Tim and I and our relationship. It is disheartening to witness how quickly misinformation can spread and the impact it can have on individuals and families. I ask that you respect our privacy during this time and refrain from perpetuating these harmful rumors any further."
Tim Lambesis was convicted of solicitation of murder in 2014
In 2012, Tim Lambesis reportedly declared to his then-wife Meggan Murphy-Lambesis that he no longer loved her and that he no longer believed in God. The singer and Meggan subsequently separated.
The next year, the singer was arrested for trying to hire someone to kill his wife. He was arrested in Oceanside, California on May 7, 2013. The singer approached an undercover detective known only as "Red" and proceeded to provide them with $1000 plus pictures of his wife, her address, the code to get through a gate, and told him the date on which to kill her.
Subsequently, the singer was convicted of the charge of solicitation of murder and sentenced to serve 6 years on May 16, 2014. Two years into his imprisonment, the singer sued the two South California detention centers for gross medical negligence after being denied anastrozole, which the singer had been prescribed to combat the side effects of steroids.
After his release from prison, the singer briefly married Amanda Dubord from 2017 to 2020, before marrying Dany Lambesis in 2022. Tim Lambesis has children with Meggan Murphy-Lambesis.
Dany Lambesis did guest work for Australian Death Machine, providing backing vocals for the songs No Pain No Gain, Don't Be Lazy, Destroy the Machines, and Quad Brutal.
