Shelly Gibson was born to parents Ethel M. Gibson and Raymond W. Gibson. She tied the knot with Channing Gibson on June 14, in 1986 on a large cruiser in New York Harbor. After their marriage, they maintained their residences in California and New York City, according to a report in Springfield Leader and Press.

The report added that she graduated from Stephens College and her husband was a Yale University graduate.

According to an article in the Springfield Business Journal, Shelly Gibson offered her house as a set for one of her movies called Dust to Malibu. Besides starring in the film as an actor, she produced it as well. The film reportedly had a budget of $300,000-$700,000. She told the outlet,

He is the drummer in the American rock band called The Ozark Mountain Daredevils, as per the band’s official website. Gibson is seen often sharing photographs with him along with her children and grand kids. She described Gremp as her “guy” in her posts.
