Wilson’s boyfriend Delvin Hodges is a retired NFL player. As reported by The Things, he entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent, signing with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2019. He started a podcast called, Duck Hodges Podcast which was centered on duck hunting.

It’s been four years since Lainey Wilson and Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Delvin Hodges started dating. According to a report in American Songwriter, the duo were introduced by mutual friends in Nashville years ago. They have shared a strong and committed relationship over the years which led to their engagement.

Reportedly, Hodges has been a huge support in the 32-year-old singer’s music career. Gushing over her boyfriend, Wildon revealed in an interview with Billboard,

"I have found a man that is so happy that he’s with a lady that can do her own thing. He’s just my cheerleader.” She added, "Everything I ever write, he hears because he truly is my best friend and he’s got a great ear."
