Fox News contributor Kat Timpf has revealed she was diagnosed with breast cancer hours before giving birth to her son.

She took to her social media to announce the news, sharing a note on Instagram along with the caption:

“Hey so a couple things.”

In the note she mentioned:

“Last week, I welcomed my first child into the world. About fifteen hours before I went into labor, I was diagnosed with breast cancer.”

She further informed that her cancer is at Stage 0, adding that she has been advised by the doctors that,

“the best course of action would likely be a double mastectomy as soon as possible.”

In her post, new mom Timpf called it a

“wildly unexpected chapter.”

As she concluded her post, she thanked people for their “support, laughter and love.”

She announced the news of her pregnancy in July 2024, in an op-ed for Fox News titled My mom died 10 years ago this Election Day and I’m pregnant with my first child, as per a report in Pop Culture.

A report in People magazine said that Kat Timpf and Cameron Friscia married in May 2021. Friscia is a former U.S. Army Ranger who served in Afghanistan. He is also an investment banker by profession and holds a master's degree from Indiana University.

Fans are intrigued to know more about Timpf’s husband as the two fell in love with each other after meeting for the first time on the dating app Raya.

Cameron Friscia was the main reason behind the change in Kat Timpf’s views on marriage and commitment. Speaking to People magazine about her views on marriage before she met Friscia, she said:

“I was pretty full-on against it — and kind of questioning whether or not I even believed in monogamy at all.”

She added that he changed her

“for the better and it's the best feeling in the world.”

The couple reportedly met on Raya, the celebrity dating app. According to People, she told the magazine that

he “seemed so clean-cut” compared to men she’d dated in the past, and she wasn’t sure if they would be a good fit.

Despite her reservations, they quickly connected, and their relationship blossomed. They got engaged in 2020 and married in 2021.

Speaking about husband Cameron Friscia on Bill Maher’s podcast, the Gutfeld panelist revealed:

“He works in finance, he’s from a great family, he went to boarding school.”

According to a report in The Sun, Friscia was born on August 10, 1986, in New York City. After earning a bachelor’s degree in science from the U.S. Military School at West Point he went to Indiana University where he completed his masters.

He reportedly served as a former U.S. Army ranger, in Afghanistan as a part of the 101st Airborne in 2012. Celebrating her husband’s achievements, Timpf gave him a shout-out on her Instagram in 2021, and wrote alongside a photo of Friscia in combat fatigues:

“Everyone plz take a moment to thank @camfrish for his service.”

Friscia left the military in 2014 and became a broker, as per The Sun. He currently works as an investment banker, People reported. Although he is on social media, he has remained inactive since 2022. His last post is dated October 30, 2022, where he wished his wife, Kat Timpf, on her birthday
