Brian Glenn, a reporter covering President Donald Trump’s Oval Office meeting, has gone viral.

On March 12, 2025, Glenn asked Irish Prime Minister Micheál Martin, who was seated next to the President:

“Why in the world would you let Rosie O’Donnell move to Ireland? I think she is going to lower your happiness level.”

Trump interjected and said, “Thank you, I like that question.” This left Glenn perplexed as he smiled nervously, unable to reply on the spot. Then Trump asked him, “Do you know who she is?” and before he could answer, he added, “You’re better off not knowing.”

Rosie O’Donnell recently announced through a TikTok video that she had moved to Ireland. She has been a longtime critic of Trump.

Speaking of Glenn, he has always impressed the President with his smart questions. But, who is he?

Brian Glenn is the Chief White House Correspondent at Real America’s Voice, owned by Robert J. Sigg. He is also one of Trump’s trusted allies and a right-wing supporter. According to his LinkedIn profile, he went to Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas.

He is reportedly dating U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene from Georgia since 2022, according to a report by BBC.

However, this is not the first time Glenn has gone viral for his views. Here is everything you need to know.

Brian Glenn questions Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy about his choice of outfit

On March 4, 2025, Brian Glenn questioned Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy for his choice of outfit during a meeting at the Oval Office with the US President Donald Trump.

During the meeting, Glenn asked Zelenskyy:

“Why don’t you wear a suit?” he said. “You’re at the highest level in this country’s office, and you refuse to wear a suit. Just want to see if — do you own a suit?” He added, “A lot of Americans have problems with you not respecting the office.”

Zelensky appeared in an all black military-style uniform. Zelensky responded:

"I will wear the suit after this war is over," he humorously responded. "Maybe it will be something similar to yours, maybe something better..." Maybe something cheaper."

The moment ended in chaos at the White House. Even Vice President JD Vance agreed with Glenn and claimed that Mr Zelenskyy had been "disrespectful" to the US, off on a bad footing. Recently, the reporter revealed that he has been receiving death threats.

"I know by the thousands and tens of thousands of comments I have got on social media, death threats, phone calls. I don't know how they got my number," Glenn told BBC's Newsnight.

"I think the world took it as a snarky comment, that wasn't really my intention. My intention was to really see if he [Mr Zelenskyy] understood the level of respect that people have when they go into the Oval Office." He added.

Social media users have drawn comparisons between Mr. Zelensky and Elon Musk's wardrobe choices, who usually wears a T-shirt and MAGA cap to Trump’s formal meetings.
