Scorpios are intense, secretive, and passionate, and Gollum fits into these characteristics as a character who is obsessed with the One Ring. Gollum's extremely emotional and driven nature reflects Scorpio's capacity for obsession and fixation. The duality between innocent Sméagol and the darker Gollum portrays a sort of internal struggle Scorpio has to contend with in terms of emotionality. Like Scorpio, Gollum is a misinterpreted character, as his deep emotions and hidden motivations power him, making him a perfect representation of the powerful, magnetic, and sometimes dangerous energy that defines Scorpio.
