The newly released Jon Watts' action packed crime-comedy film, Wolfs, has been shot in various parts of New York City. The George Clooney-Brad Pitt duo had been reportedly seen filming in different neighbourhoods of the city, some of them being China Town, Harlem and Da Mikelle Palazzo.
Moreover, Four Seasons Hotel of Manhattan (renamed as Delon Hotel in the movie) is another filming location where the movie peaks, with a crime scene in the background.
Two fixers with no names (Clooney and Pitt) are witnessed engaging in a conversation in a room of the Delon Hotel with Margaret, the district attorney of Manhattan.
Amy Ryan playing this part is the focus of the wave of incidents that unravel, following the apparent death of a young guy (mentioned as Kid in the movie) in her room. The scene intensifies as two fixers recruited through different sources come face to face, leading to a controversial and risky team-up.
What are the filming locations of Wolfs?
The two protagonists of Wolfs go through a series of chases and fights and end up in various points of the city. For further information on the fimling locations of Wolfs, you can explore the following list:
1) Four Seasons Hotel, New York City (Manhattan)
As it has been previously mentioned, the entire movie has been shot at various places of New York, starting with one of the most important sequences. This one is shot at the Delon Hotel, which is fictional and carved out of the Four Seasons Hotel located in the Manhattan area of New York.
However, there is another very important scene at the parking lot of this hotel where the Clooney-Pitt duo discover that the kid's body they were getting rid of is actually alive. As per reports, the shot was carried out in the parking area of Icon Parking (in real life - a service provider of parking management) in the hotel.
2) Da Mikelle Palazzo, Queens, New York
Another major series of events take place at the Da Mikelle Palazzo based in Queens, which has been portrayed as Club Ice in this film. The Palazzo is mostly rented out for large wedding events. The creators of the film have made use of the exteriors of this location as well as shot some scenes inside the ballroom of the event center.
Like the Delon Hotel, this shoot location has also been given a fictional identity, though it has been based on a real life place located in the heart of New York City where people gather for social events.
3) China Town, New York
A lot of action and chase sequences of Wolfs have been reportedly filmed in and around China Town, a place famous for its South Asian, as well as Chinese cuisines. The area has a dense population, attracting tourists from various parts of the country.
In the movie we mostly see dark alleys with hanging red lanterns, setting up the perfect shoot location for high intensity car chases and shootouts. The overall theme is the vibrant side of China Town and the touch of its shady side.
4) Harlem, New York City
Harlem, well-known for its clubs, eating joints and pubs showcasing the local culture, is a major filming location of Wolfs. Located close to the Hudson River, it is reportedly one of the primary choices of the filmmakers while keeping in mind the action as well as the comic angle.
However, there reportedly have been some unknown locations - mostly the scenes from some diners and shady motels shown in Wolfs.
Some of them might have been shot in film studios located in Hollywood, California, as reports stated. Mostly, these all are indoor sequences.

The movie is available to watch on the Apple TV+ if you have a subscription. Though it was set to have a broad release initially, yet it was limited to a few selected theatres when it premiered on September 27, 2024.
