As seen by viewers, the story of Hot Frosty is based on a Christmas wrapped Canada. Director Ciccoritti has intentionally chosen various cities and townships of Ontario, Canada to set the mood right for the film. Sets have been individually prepared and most of the filming took place in April and May, 2024.
(1) Ottawa
The plot unravels with the streets of Canada all decked up for Christmas. The country's capital city has been kept at the heart of all the buzz. Famous for its scenic beauty, Ottawa has contributed towards a number of romantic and happy sequences, perfectly suited for the mood of the story.

Brockville is a city located in the eastern part of the province Ontario and has been a major filming location for Hot Frosty, towards the south of it lies Ottawa.
Most of the exterior scenes have been shot at this picturesque city. The filmmakers have created sets around the Fulford Fountain and artificial snow has also been used to add to the authentic look.

The townships of Almonte, Ramsay and Pakenham together form what is presently known as Mississippi Mills, Lanark County located on the banks of the Mississippi River. The township is famous for its variety of communities.
What is the movie Hot Frosty about?
Hot Frosty is based on the story of Kathy (Lacy Chabert), a grieving widow. After losing her husband two years back, Kathy's life has currently become lifeless and devoid of joy.
She is a survivor but the holiday season always makes things more difficult for her. But things suddenly take a 180 degree turn when a snowman magically comes to life and takes the form of a handsome and charming man called Jack.
Kathy again gets happiness and romance back in her dull life. Lacy Chabert has reportedly said in a statement:
