Netflix's latest Back in Action shows Cameron Diaz and Jamie Foxx on a globe-trotting adventure They play former CIA spies Emily and Matt, who faked their deaths during a critical mission so that they could lead "normal" lives with their child.
After this departure, they lived 15 years away from espionage - until a viral accident put them on the agency's radar. An old colleague suddenly knocks on their door and makes them confront their past.
The action comedy shows Diaz returning to the screen after 11 years since her last feature film's release. She is joined by her Annie and Any Given Sunday co-star Foxx in a wild ride.

Based on the post-credits, the film was presumably shot in Georgia, Quebec, and Slovenia, besides some recognizable locations in England. Let's dive right into where the film was filmed.
Where was Netflix's Back in Action filmed? Details explored about this action comedy
Back in Action on Netflix follows Emily and Matt, former CIA agents who reside in the United States with their two children. One day, they are suddenly thrust back into their past professions after a viral incident exposes their secret identities. So, they must travel to England to face the fears of their past.
Atlanta, Georgia
As a couple in the US suburbs, Emily and Matt lead fairly monotonous lives until their past catches up with them. Then, they get "back in action," which involves them doing anything required to protect their family. During these scenes, they drive recklessly through their neighborhood, occasionally damaging some lawns. These scenes were reportedly shot in Atlanta, Georgia, and local homeowners were taken on board for these scenes.
While speaking about shooting them, director Seth Gordon said:
“It became a question of which neighborhood is going to let us drive over their lawns and smash up fences? It was a long dance to earn the trust of the neighbors and to plan a route so it wouldn’t actually disrupt things for anyone.”
The film's credits also thank the Georgia Film Office for their help.
London, England
Emily and Matt travel to England after their cover gets blown to retrieve something that they were supposed to get during their last CIA mission. So, the film shows them traveling to London, in and around the Heathrow Airport. Besides this location, the film was also shot in the Thames River, which appears in the film's critical moments. Back during the film's production, Metro UK revealed a few photos of Diaz on a boat in this river.
Waddesdon Manor, England
Waddenston Manor from Buckinghamshire, a National Heritage Site, is used in the scenes when Emily and Matt take their children to meet Emily's mother, Ginny (played by Glenn Close). The manor offers elaborate architecture that serves as the interior of Ginny's mansion. Reportedly, the film was shot in the interiors and outside the manor, which is a major tourist attraction in London.
Slovenia
Besides the Georgia Film Office, the film's post-credits also give thanks to the Republic of Slovenia. So, the film was presumably shot in this scenic European country. The initial scenes where Emily and Matt briefly escape a life-threatening plane crash amid a snowscape were possibly shot in Slovenia.
Québec, Canada
Québec was referred to in the film's credits, which extends its thanks to the Canadian Film or Video production services. So, some Back in Action scenes were likely shot in this Canadian city, possibly in some of its local studios. The film might have used some real-life locations for the scene where the couple fights a bunch of people at a gas station. However, there is no official confirmation for it.
