Diddy Combs was recently imprisoned under charges of s*x trafficking, abuse, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution under RICO law. The rapper was arrested on September 16, 2024, by US Federal Authorities.
Now the singer is arrested at Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center and his 55th birthday menu includes birthday cake. The revelation of Combs's access to 'birthday cake' and other items has now made the internet react, as exemplified by the tweet below:
"Where the baby dipping oil at?"
Other reactions were similar, with many taking umbrage at the fact that he was being fed better than even free men:
"He eating better then me and I’m a free man," one netizen reacted.
"3 square meals??Bro is in jail eating better than some free people", another netizen reacted.
"Diddy eating good man. I thought they were only feeding him oxygen and water to barely survive", one commentor reacted.
"Aww, poor guy. He should be happy he gets to eat anything somewhat decent," another commenter reacted.
"Sad but true: that's a better menu than most school lunches," another person stated.
Diddy's indictment elaborated upon.
Diddy's indictment is publicly available via the Justice Department government website. The indictment was led by US Attorney Damian Williams and states:
"From at least 2008 through the present, COMBS led a criminal enterprise that existed to facilitate his abuse and exploitation of women, to protect his reputation, and to conceal his conduct. As part of that criminal enterprise, COMBS, along with other members and associates of the enterprise, committed crimes including s*x trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping-"
The indictment goes on:
"-arson, bribery and obstruction of justice. Among other things, COMBS’ se**al abuse of women included causing them to engage in frequent, days-long se**al activity with male commercial s*x workers, some of whom were transported over state lines. These events, which COMBS referred to as “Freak Offs,” were elaborate sex performances that COMBS arranged-."
The indictment later adds:
"To commit these crimes, COMBS relied on his power as the leader of a multi-faceted business empire. Employees of COMBS' businesses—including high ranking supervisors, security staff, personal assistants, and household staff—acted as COMBS’ intermediaries to, among other things, arrange travel and hotel rooms-"
It then reads:
"stock the hotel rooms for COMBS’ commercial s*x activity; contact or locate women and other individuals whom he targeted for abuse; and conceal and cover up the abuse. This criminal concealment included efforts to prevent law enforcement from learning about his abuse."
As mentioned above, Diddy Combs is awaiting trial under one count of racketeering conspiracy, which carries a life sentence, one count of s*x trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion, which carries a maximum sentence of life imprisonment and a minimum sentence of 15 years mandatory imprisonment as well as one count of transportation for purposes of prostitution, which carries a sentence of 10 years.
In addition to the sentencing on the three above charges, additional lawsuits have been filed against Diddy since his imprisonment. More than 27 people have come forward with allegations against the now-imprisoned rapper, including some filed anonymously.
Some of those who have come forward include Crystal McKinney, Grace O'Marcaigh, Adria English, Thalia Graves, and his ex-girlfriend Casandra "Cassie" Ventura.
