Gossip Girl star Blake Lively's 2024 romantic drama film It Ends With Us has explored the charming encounter between an aspiring florist, Lily (Lively), and Ryle (Justin Baldoni), a neurosurgeon amidst the buzz of Boston. As time passes, their romantic relationship develops further.
However, things go awry when Lily realizes that Ryle has a darker side that prompts him to be emotionally and physically abusive. Sony Pictures theatrically released the movie in the United States on August 9, 2024.
As per the latest reports by Tudum, It Ends With Us will be available to stream on Netflix in December 2024. However, viewers can access the movie through other digital video-on-demand services like Apple TV+ and Amazon Prime Video.

The movie has been closely adapted from the famous novel of the same name by Collin Hoover. The story also deals with themes of domestic abuse and generational trauma. Lead star Baldoni, who directed the film alongside Columbia Pictures and Wayfarer Studios, has reportedly told The Hollywood Reporter that he was:
"Moved by Lily’s bravery and what she had to overcome."
This character further inspired him to adapt the story and help it make its way to the big screen. In the official trailer of It Ends With Us, we see Lily reflecting on what she has been through, saying:
"As hard as this choice is, we break the pattern, or the pattern breaks us."
